Since 1985, Texas Spice Company has been dedicated to helping restaurants, chefs, foodservice professionals, and home cooks create memorable meals through premium spices, seasonings, coffee, and tea. Behind that commitment are the Texas Spice Company owners, Kevin and Cynthia, whose passion for quality and customer service continues to shape everything we do.
A Passion for Flavor
After graduating from college, Kevin LaRoche built his career in the coffee and tea industry, where he developed a deep appreciation for the role quality ingredients play in creating exceptional dining experiences. In 1996, Kevin purchased the business from a local Central Texas couple with a vision for its future. Kevin began as a one-man operation, running the business from his garage. He handled every step of the process, from taking orders to making deliveries. His hard work and dedication grew Texas Spice Company into the trusted vendor it is today.
As his knowledge grew, so did his passion for spices. Kevin recognized that spices, coffee, and tea are the cornerstone of flavor in every restaurant. He believed that behind every unforgettable meal is a talented chef, supported by carefully selected ingredients that bring each recipe to life- a philosophy that became the foundation of Texas Spice Company.
